First Baptist Church is an independent Baptist church. We believe that church is not a building, but the people who attend. We seek not only to minister to the people, but to equip each one to live a life that ministers to others. FBC has a multigenerational congregation and our activities and opportunities span varied age groups. We incorporate a blended Sunday morning service that combines traditional hymns and praise/worship music. First Baptist Church exists to exalt the Lord through worship, praise, scripture reading and many other means: to evangelize the lost through outreach events and sharing Christ in our community; to educate the people of the church through Sunday School, adult Bible fellowships and small groups; to equip the people through conferences and training sessions; and to enable people to go and make disciples here in Bellefonte and around the world. We hope you will take the time not only to get to know us on the web, but to join us so that we can get to know you. If you have any questions, please feel free to contact us. We would love to hear from you. You are always welcome at First Baptist Church of Bellefonte.
